S. Thomas' College made a gallant second half burst to record a thrilling 20-19 win against St. Peter's College in their Under-19 Schools Rugby League Championship match played at Mt. Lavinia today (28).
The Peterites took an early lead by 14-0 within the seventh minute from the first whistle and went on to maintain that gap until halftime.
However the Thomians made a rally that could be termed as one of the greatest in schools rugby, to secure a thrilling win after scoring from two converted tries and two penalties.
St. Peter's scored from three tries and two conversions.
