Senior ICC Anti-Corruption Unit to work together with Sports Ministry - Harin

A senior official at the ICC anti-corruption unit is to be posted to Sri Lanka to work with the Sports Ministry, Minister Harin Fernando said on his official Twitter handle today (Dec 26).

Minister Fernando said a special report was handed over to him by the officials of the anti-corruption unit.

The tweet also noted that a positive meeting had taken place between newly appointed Sports Minister Fernando and the officials of the ICC anti-corruption unit in Dubai today.

I had a very positive meeting with ICC Anti Corruption Unit in Dubai today, They handed over a report to me, a senior ICC Anti Corruption officer will be posted to Sri Lanka to work with us. Looking forward to meet ICC President very soon to discuss matters further
