Batsman Kusal Janith Perera, who was named in the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 Series against Bangladesh has been ruled out of the two games, following medical advice, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed today (13).
"According to medical advice, Perera needs more time to recover from the side strain, which he suffered during the second match Sri Lanka played against Zimbabwe in the concluded ODI Tri-Series in Bangladesh, which the Lankans became the Champions," SLC stated.
Kusal Perera did not leave with the T20 players, who left the country on Monday (12).
