Kimiko Raheem, the first from the Sri Lanka's contingent to feature, finished fourth in the Women's 100m Backstroke heat at the Rio Olympic Games 2016 on Sunday (7).
The 17-year-old swimmer clocked 1:4.21seconds to finish fourth, far behind her personal best as Hong Kong's Claudia Lau won the heat.
Matthew Abeysinghe, who became the first swimmer from Sri Lanka to qualify for an Olympic, will compete in the Men’s 100m Freestyle first round heats on Tuesday (9).
