Isipathana College beat S. Thomas’ College 17-5 to win the Milo Schools Under-18 All-Island Rugby League Championship at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday (6). Isipathana, who trailed 3-5 at halftime scored from two converted tries and a penalty while the Thomians were able to collect their points from an unconverted try. The Plate championship of the tournament was won by Wesley College who beat Science College by 17-0, after leading 5-0 at halftime. Trinity College won the Bowl title defeating hometown rivals from Kandy, Kingswood College by 17-5. Vidyartha College beat Thurstan College 22-0 to win the Shield championship.
