Ananda College beat Zahira College by 8 wickets to win the Unity Cup in their annual friendly 50-overs Under-19 Schools Cricket encounter played at Zahira ground in Maradana.
Ananda College grabbed three of the four individual awards on offer with Asel Damsika winning the best bowler and Nisal Francisco winning the best batsman and man-of-the-match awards.
Ahmed Adil of Zahira won the award for the best fielder.
Nisal Francisco, the captain of Ananda College team received T.B. Jayah Memorial Trophy from chief guests Ranjith Pandithage and the Principal of Zahira College Trizviiy Marikkar.
