St. Peter's College made a dramatic comeback to beat title holders St. Joseph's College 22-20 and regain the Milo Schools Under-19 Presidents Cup Knockout Rugby Championship 2018 at the Racecourse ground in Colombo today (30).
The Josephians were dominant from the first whistle as they went on a rampage to lead the halftime by 17-5 as the Peterites were kept on the check.
However after the turnaround St. Peter's played according to a plan to shackle the defending champions and restrict them only to a penalty.
St. Peter's scored from four tries and a conversion.
The Josephians made up their points from two converted tries and two penalties.
