The Sri Lanka Air Force women’s Volleyball team beat Sri Lanka Army lasses to emerge champions at 9th Defence Services Volleyball Championship 2016 concluded at the Regimental Centre of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Army Camp in Ambepussa.
This was the fifth consecutive Defence Services Volleyball Championship bagged by the Airwomen.
Chairman of Army Volleyball Committee, Major General M.H.S.B. Perera graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Chairman of the SLAF Volleyball Air Vice Marshal R.J. Pathirage, officers and other ranks of armed forces were present to witness the finals.
