The finals of the Dialog President’s Gold Cup Volleyball Tournament will be held at the Davisamara Vidyalaya Indoor Complex in Seeduwa today (19), commencing at 1.00pm.
At 1.00pm the final of the Women’s tournament between Vijaya SC Puttalam and Golden Birds SC Gampaha will take place followed by the Men’s tournament final.
Balares SC Boralesgamuwa and Rantharu SC Kegalle will vie for the Men’s title at 3.00pm.
With an island-wide participation of over 48,000 players, the tournament is one of the largest sporting events held in the country attracting over 4,000 teams this year.
The winners, first and second runners-up in both segment are set to receive trophies and cash prizes in addition to special awards presented to the best players of the tournament.
