Sri Lanka will send a set of eight players – six men and two women – for the 46th Men’s and 26th Women’s Asian Weightlifting Championship 2015 to be held in Phuket, Thailand from September 3 to 12. Four officials will accompany the Sri Lankan weightlifters for the 10-day event where China, Korea, Iran, Iraq, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are also set to take part.
