Women's Cricket: Unbeaten Devapathiraja through to U-19 Schools final round

Rathgama Devapathiraja College -- the defending champions advanced without any blemish to the pre-quarter finals of the ongoing Singer Cup Under 19 Girls School Cricket Tournament. 

In this Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association conducted tournament sponsored by Singer Sri Lanka 26 girls schools participated in this season’s edition. 

Devapathiraja College Rathgama Girls played four matches in the preliminary round winning all four matches. 

They beat Herman Gmieinar MV Piliyandala, Bolossagama MV Kalutara, Mahanama College Panadura and Wadduwa Central College. 

Devapathiraja College Rathgama girl’s team is led by Sathya Sandeepani.

At Wadduwa: Devapathiraja beat Herman Gmieinar by 9 wickets
