The Department of National Zoological Gardens combined with a graduate of the Ocean University Sri Lanka has initiated a project to restore and grow corrals in captive conditions.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
