Glad Mathu Raja is being taken back to Thailand. Well done Thailand for caring about these elephants that are gifted to SL . It’s really sad to see a majestic animal like this shackled and not properly taken care of. If Sri Lanka can’t look after these elephants it’s best they not accept gifts of elephants. Look at the elephants in the jungles that are being killed. No empathy to live harmoniously with the elephants; elephant corridors are taken over by man and they have no place to graze or move freely. Fences to contain elephants are ridiculous as they need to move freely to feed.
