The family members of four Sri Lankans arrested in India on allegations that they were affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) during the general elections in India in May, 2024 have called to disclose the whereabouts of those arrested. Energy Ministry differs on proposed electricity tariff reduction from today.
The Energy Ministry has decided to go ahead with the PUCSL recommendation of reducing the electricity tariff by an average of 20 per cent, Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody said today.
