The united unemployed graduates association held a protest today demanding the government to employ them in the state sector. They shouted that they had to protest on the streets as they became unemployed as their graduation was delayed due to the fault of the administration.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that unilateral action by the UK and other countries in imposing sanctions on certain individuals do not assist but serve to complicate the national reconciliation process underway in Sri Lanka.
