The groundbreaking of the theme park Fantasy Island got underway today under the auspices of Megapolis Minister Champika Ranawaka.
Fantasy Island is to become Colombo’s premier family entertainment center located at Waters Edge in Battaramulla. Representing the elements air, sea, and land, the attraction park will feature a 40m Ferris wheel, an indoor snow experience, and a big waterplay-area including waterslides.
The Entertainment Park to be build at a cost of Rs 600 million is joint venture between Waters Edge and Melchers Project Management Ltd.
