ISIS leader pronounced dead; successor announced

The Islamic State group (ISIS) announced on Thursday(3) that its leader, Abu al-Hussein, who had served as the leader since November, had died in Syria.
 
According to foreign media, the ISIS Spokesperson acknowledged the leader's death and said he had been killed in a fight.
 
In addition, ISIS declared that Abu Hafs al-Hashimi al-Quraishi would take over as the new leader.
