During the two days of the arrest of Imran Khan, his supporters took part in violent protests across the country demanding that he be released and a valid reason for his arrest be given.
While battling with the police and army, at least 10 people died, hundreds were injured and over 2,000 were arrested.
While at his appearance at the Supreme Court yesterday, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said, "Your arrest was invalid, so the whole process needs to be backtracked."
Throughout the unruly behavior of the supporters of Imran Khan, many buildings were damaged, and a CORP Commander’s house was also set on fire by the protestors.
A short while ago, ‘Tehreek-e-Insaf’ the political party of Imran Khan tweeted saying “Thank God that Islamabad High Court granted bail to Imran Khan for 2 weeks”.
