Maldivian President Ibrahim Solih took part in a friendly cricket encounter with a team from India at the Ekuveni Maldives Cricket ground today (Feb 15).
The Indian team comprised of Indian national cricketers Harbajahn Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Nikhil Chopra, Reetinder Singh, Narman Ojha, and Pravin Amre.
Meanwhile, the team from Maldives comprised Malidivian President Solih, Vice President Faisal Naseem, Youth Minister Ahmed Mahroof, Mohammed Mahafooz, Mohamed Rishwan, and Hassan Ibrahim.
President Solih and Vice President Naseem were seen establishing a batting partnership in the 15-over match.
