Merc Badminton from Dec 2

The Mercantile Badminton Association will be conducting the inter-firm Badminton team championship at the S. Thomas’ indoor stadium Mt. Lavinia from 2 to 7 December.

The tournament is conducted in the Men’s and Women’s divisions. The Men’s Division has received 103 entries representing 43 firms. The Women’s division has received 38 entries representing 28 firms.
Leading national ranking players are expected to compete at this event adding much glamour to the tournament.

The tournament referee will be Ajith Wijesinghe. (SI)
