The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) recognized and rewarded the high achievers in the recently concluded G.C.E A/L examination 2008. The ICASL has provided full scholarships in all of its examinations to the top ten rankers in all four streams of 2008 A/Ls.

The ICASL is a globally recognized accountancy qualification which has a wide student body of 30,000; its membership strength exceeds over 4,000 and the members excel in diverse business sectors around the globe.

These scholarships offered by the Institute for the A/L high achievers would therefore be a great opportunity for these future leaders to initiate their voyage for a stable and prosperous career.
The ICASL organized the annual Scholarship Awarding Ceremony on May 12 2009 to present the scholarships to the A/L high achievers. The Chairman of the University Grants Commission Professor S.V.D.G Samaranayake graced this occasion with officers from the Ministry of Education.

At this ceremony the students from the following schools received the ICASL scholarships.
