ETV to Launch SUTASI

ETV is geared up to being yet another first to Sri Lankan Audience. This time it’s the hunt for Asia’s next biggest Star. The search is on in Asia to unearth hidden talent. ETV brings Sri Lankan audience with up to date action on what promises to be Asia’s Biggest Reality TV talent Show ‘SUTASI’.

The coincide with the World Premiere (week) ETV launched the show on July 4 at 7.00pm. ETV Has an exclusive terrestrial TV agreement for Sri Lanka with Asia Sounds (The producers of the series) to Air Sutasi on Sri Lankan TV.

SUTASI is a scintillating music competition featuring unsigned Young, talented, hot and hip Asians who will fuse the eastern tunes and the western sound waves to win a life challenging opportunity in a global platform. The SUTASI television broadcast on ETV provides an opportunity to discover unique, contemporary Asian music talent, and to launch it on the international stage.

It has been a whirlwind journey for the 37 bands, solo artists and song writers from across Asia who feature in the 7-episode television series. All finalists are now waiting to find out who will advance to the Grand Final.

The finalists will be judged by a panel of internationally respected music industry professionals who will select a winning solo artiste and band from each region to go through to the Grand Final.

Through public selection one wildcard entrant from South Asia, North East Asia and South East Asia will also qualify for the Grand Final, bringing the total to 10 Grand Finalists competing for the grand prize including one songwriter who will also be decided by public voting via phone and internet.
