Speaking at the Trincomalee Zonal Education Office he said he had come to this position after seeing a lot of death and destruction and that he joined the liberation struggle as he could not continue his studies due to many social problems.
“I now realize the importance of education and have a dream to develop the Eastern Province in this field during my tenure in office,” he said adding that he sought the assistance of all to make this dream a reality. |
