‘Rajini’ appears on Sirasa

‘Rajini’, a family drama of two families and a doctor who falls in love with a school leaver is now being telecast at 8.30 pm every Saturday on Sirasa TV.

Directed by Kumarasiri Abayakoon, the 32 episode teledrama stars Chathurika Peiris, Manjula Moragoda, Maureen Charuni, Sandun Wijesiri, Sahan Ranwala, Tharushi Suramya, Susantha Chandramali, Nuwan Gunasekera and Heshani Perera.

‘Rajini’, the teledrama is all about how a doctor who falls in love and proposes to his close friend’s young, pretty sister who is just a school leaver, their marriage and the eventual problems the couple face after their first child is born.

The situation worsens to the extent of the girl leaving the house, and having no where to go to find shelter with an aunt far away from the city where she begins her struggle to earn a living. Music directed by Sarath de Alwis, camera by Wimal Wekandala the production coordinator is Buddika Gunadasa.
