Designs inspired by ancient cultures

The 'Mandhãrã' range of designer sarees by Maheshika Narangoda are inspired by ancient cultures- motifs derived from different cultures such as Mughal, Persian and Greek.

An exhibition and sale of these sarees, in pure silk, georgette and silk chiffon in unusual colour combinations, embellished with a mix of heavy jewel work, intricate hand embroidery, silk paint and light sequin work will be held on May 30th and 31st from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Kandygs "Thirasara" , No: 28/11, De Fonseka Place Colombo 5.
