When one thinks about "Hackers" it always causes eye brows to be raised. People with malicious intentions, who are ready to attack and sneak in to some one's acre is the picture a hacker generates. But then "Ethical Hacker" sounds even more confused.

Yes. There are many "Ethical Hackers" around the world, thanks to CEH programme. The truth of the matter is that "Hackers" have been given an unfair and undeserved misinterpretation. In fact the Hackers actually works to prevent computer systems being attacked. If "Hackers" are an innocent breed, who are the bad guys? It is "CRACKERS" the malicious species who hide behind poor "Hackers" and make all havoc. Then, who are "Ethical Hackers" and how do they protect computer systems?
