The University of Wales is an old established (1879) Federal University with Several Colleges, situated approximately 150 miles from London. Prof. Nigel Palastanga, Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Wales is in Sri Lanka, as the representative of that University to present the awards at the Convocation ceremony, for the newly qualified MBA and BSC graduates. These graduates, if they wished, could have travelled to Cardiff for the Convocation.
