One of the senior most executives in HSBC's Asia Pacific network will be arriving in Sri Lanka on Monday, October 19, for a two-day official visit, according to a HSBC statement. It said HSBC Asia Pacific's Head of International, Paul Leech, is scheduled to meet Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal as well as "key customers and staff, and visit several branches within HSBC's local network".
Among his many positions within its global network, Mr. Leech has headed HSBC operations in Taiwan as well as the company's offshore banking concerns in the Channel Islands. Currently, he oversees activities in Mauritius, Vietnam and China, and, in his role as HSBC Asia Pacific's Head of International, he has been tasked with being "directly responsible for 10 markets within Asia Pacific". |
