Right arm off spinner Shashikala Siriwardena’s impressive bowling figures of 7 wickets for 2 wins enabled Marians Ladies to record an easy six wickets win over Southern Ladies in their Women’s limited over encounter played at the Panadura Esplanade yesterday, This was Marians Ladies sixth successive win of the tournament and they are the only unbeaten side. Shashikala’s victims were all clean bowled as she ended her allotted ten overs bowling eight maidens.

Southern Ladies taking first lease of the wicket were bundled out for a meager 70 with the Marians Ladies needing just 15 overs to reach the required target.
