Hampstead International Educational Institute Pvt Ltd has been the authorized representative of the Kursk State Medical University of Russia for a long time. Dr. Yasoba Athukorala is the coordinator who maintains relations with our organization and the Kursk State Medical University. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Lyashev Dimitiyevich and directors of the board of this University visited our institute in January 2008 and conducted a seminar. A supplementary newspaper report was published in the prominent newspaper, Lankadeepa. This Institute introduced many Sri Lankan students to this University.

Mr.Edward Weerasinghe is the Managing Director of this group of companies. In recognition of his professional and social services he has been appointed a Director of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment for the fourth time by Government of Sri Lanka. In order to provide awareness of the educational services provided by this University a seminar was held in 2008 with the Chief Minister of the Central Province Sarath Ekanayake as the Chief Guest .

Mr. Edward Weerasinghe explained that this Institute can provide the services of placement of students, making their travel arrangements, obtaining visas, getting approvals from government authorities etc. Our main objective is providing the prospective students with genuine guidance, assistance and encouragement to obtain an internationally recognized education in the English medium. The Vice Chancellor proposed to commence the studies in Sri Lanka for four years and continue the balance two years in Russia.
