The historic sell-out concert which featured the highest number of entertainers of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s that rocked the BMICH on 11 November 2008 is now available on DVD.
The rare DVD includes mega hits of Desmond de Silva (flown from U.K.), Dezmond Rodrigo (flown from U.S.A.), A.E. Manoharan (flown from India), Annesley Malawana, Indrani Perera, Sunil Perera, Anil Bharathi, Lankika Perera, Lilanthi Karunanayake, Nihal Nelson, Luke Henriques, Vernon Perera, Ranil Mallawarachchi, Dalreen Suby, Sohan Weerasinghe, Priyantha Fernando, Susil Fernando, Priya Sooriyasena, Menik Chandrika, Paul Fernando, Shayami Fonseka, Rajiv Sebastian and more.
While the legendary Vijaya Corea and Ariyasiri Vithanage handles the presentation, Channa Wijewardena, Anushan and Rozanne Diasz takes charge in choreography. For the very first time a beauty pageant was choreographed by Rozanne Diasz while Desmond de Silva took center stage.
This spectacular event was backed by the dynamic Rajiv & the Clan assisted by a classical guitarist, saxophonist and a percussionist to re-generate the original acoustic sound of the good old 70’s.
This priceless DVD which features 50 mega hits of 25 entertainers who then revelled Sri Lankan pop, is produced by Rajiv Sebastian of Starlanka Music.
