Degree Programs at ACHE
Since 105 subjects at degree level are available at ACHE, students have the privilege of choosing their subjects to read for any degree, whether it is Pre- Medicine, Engineering, Psychology, Education, Mass Communication, Sociology, Business or Computing.
Students could choose to enroll in the 2+2 University Transfer program, or in the 4 year Bachelor's degree program or in the 2 year Associate degree program.
The 2+2 University Transfer Program enables students to complete the first two years of a Bachelor's degree at ACHE and then transfer to a desired foreign university for the final two years to complete the degree. This enables the student to save around 70 % of the cost of studying in the USA especially due to the scholarships available in foreign universities for ACHE students.
Many Associate degree programs can be completed at ACHE itself. These can be used as terminal professional degrees or can be used as the first half of a Bachelor's degree. They are in Business Natural Sciences and Arts.
In addition, Bachelor's degree programs in Human Resource Management, General Business and Information Technology.
Why American Education?
Firstly, America is the No. 1 destination for higher education today because it has one of the most versatile education systems in the world.
Secondly, an American education makes you a dynamic individual because unlike other educational systems, students have to complete 40 modules in 8 or 9 different disciplines at the Bachelor's level. This equips a student with a wide knowledge in English, Literature, Public Speaking, Philosophy, World Religions, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Sciences. Geography, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Foreign Languages, Computer Studies, Business Studies etc. so that he could move with any society, and have a broad perspective of life and also in his career.
Having a broad knowledge would also enable the student to multi-task easily, and be very viable in the job market.
Thirdly, the American system because of its broad subject base enables a student to read for 2 or 3 degrees at the same time. Some students read for degrees in Law, Finance and Mass Communications simultaneously so that they will be equipped for a job cluster later on!
Finally, an American education gives you the confidence to face challenges, the ability to speak intelligently on many subjects to many people, and thereby have an advantage over others. |
