Academy of Netball celebrates Five Years

The Academy of Netball – Kotte which was started in March 2005 by Miss Thilaka Jinadasa and Mrs. Shyama Cooray who visualized how to impart their skills and talent to the next generation, celebrated five years this year.

The Academy started with 40 players and two coaches can be considered the pioneer Netball Academy in the island today. Since 2005 it has served more than 500 netball players. Above picture shows members of the Academy celebrating the occasion.
