MATRIX offers the students several courses from which the BCS Chartered IT Qualification is one of the popular programmes. The Chairman stated BCS was very popular among Sri Lankans due to recognition, time of completion and the low cost of investment. BCS CIIT HEQ being an UK qualification is recognized internationally and candidates who complete the BCS programme could start his/her Masters with a local or foreign university.
The total time taken to complete the BCS is 1 ½ to 2 years, where a conventional degree would take at least 3 years to complete. Further the total investment for the programme would be less than LKR.400,000 for the fulltime programme and less than LKR.250,000 for the part-time programme where the classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
The first option is ideally suited for school leavers, while the part-time option would be ideal for employed individuals and university undergraduates.

MATRIX is most probably the market leader in the BIT (Bachelor of Information Technology) of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) where it reached a record highest number of student registrations for the first semester in the most recent intake.
The BIT of the UCSC is also a very popular programme among many due to the excellent content in the course and further due to the recognition it gains being a degree offered by the University of Colombo. The BIT of the UCSC is ideal for candidates who have just completed the O/L or even the A/L. Interestingly the BIT of the UCSC is very popular among current university students, which enables them to gain a better market value with two degrees. The Australian Computer Society (ACS) Professional Examinations also an important revenue centre for MATRIX. The ACS Diploma in IT allows candidates to gain exemptions from the first year of an academic degree offered by many of the foreign universities.
