NCC opener Rishan Kavinga and Angelo Perera helped NCC make a bold reply against Navy SC when play ended on day two in their Under 23 inter-club encounter at Welisara.
Rishan cracked an 80 ball knock of 107 comprising 20 boundaries and two sixes while Angelo made a 82 ball 85 with five boundaries and six sixes enabling NCC make a formidable 311 for 6 in reply to Navy’s score of 259.

The duo was also associated in fruitful partnerships with Rishan putting on a opening stand of 98 runs with Primosh Perera while Angelo was associated in two partnerships first of 69 for the fifth wicket with Prabadha Arthavidu and the other of 60 runs for the sixth wicket with skipper Roshan Laksiri.

Left handed middle order batsman Shehan Jayasuriya made a fine 124 to put Moors on top against BRC at the end of the second days play at the BRC ground.
