Indian squash players dominated the proceedings at the 3rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship which concluded at the CCC squash courts in Colombo yesterday.

Dipika Pallikal of India hits out. |
Sri Lankan squash players were completely outclassed as they were nowhere near the standard of the experienced players from the other countries. The Asian Masters championship which is held for the first was conducted concurrently.
The organizers lacked the facilities for the media coverage as most of the photographers were unable and inconvenienced to take visuals. It is a sad state as the organizers seemed not interested in getting maximum mileage from an international championship where 12 countries are involved.
