A boutique marketing communications outfit that bills itself as "the world's first cultural movement agency" was recently announced as the new global lead for branding for Dubai-based Emirates; an airline which operates 149 aircraft over 103 destinations in 63 countries, with a net profit of US$ 964 in 2009 and additional 204 aircraft orders worth US$ 68 billion.
According to the announcement made by the airline, the agency, StrawberryFrog, will be "responsible for developing and rolling out a new brand platform for Emirates that will reflect the airline’s ambition to become one of the world's most recognized global brands".
