Parliament news as ‘tweets’

Sri Lankans can now access Parliament-related news items through the two popular online social networking sites, Twitter and Facebook.

The Parliament website was recently integrated into these two networks, a first for the region. “The integration and sharing of links means that a user can share a news story on Facebook or ‘tweet’ it to his or her Twitter profile,” a Parliament source said.
