Crisis has hit a leading sport as legal action is to be taken against those managing the sport by certain individuals that the entire structure should be changed as it is alleged that everything is being mismanaged.
Individuals of the sport have reached panic stations as they have told those who are working at the institution not to leave any documents lying around on their tables for fear that they may be leaked to interested parties.
Flag turned up side down
A leading school in Kandy had invited the wife of a VVIP as the chief guest at their sports meet. When the National Flag was unfurled by the lady it was noted that the Lion Flag was upside down. Much to the embarrassment of the organizers the flag was quickly brought down. The damage was already done as some hid the smirks on their faces.
Comfy chairs
Hectic activity is on for the venues for the fast approaching World Cup to be held in 2011. One such venue is in Sooriyawewa. Now the tussle is on as to who should provide the chairs for the venue. It is said that certain individuals are vying to provide chairs and the cut for a certain individual is in the region of one and half US dollars. These certainly must be very comfortable chairs!
Skyrocketing telephone bill
Telephone bills always sets off alarm bells in certain quarters. This one is about the president of a certain sport who has a bill of only Rs. 1700 but his secretary’s bill is in the region of two and a half lakhs! The talk doing the rounds is that the secretary’s bill is so high because he uses it for his private businesses.

Notice boards are meant to keep those interested in the sport, up to date of happenings. But this notice board has only love messages from the president of the association concerned to a certain individual towards whom he has a love crush.
