Handball expert Helmut Duell will begin working with several local trainers and coaches, at the request of the Handball Federation of Sri Lanka, when he arrives in the country tomorrow.
Mr. Duell, who has been sent here by the German Federal Office and the German Olympic Confederation, will begin his work with a Basic Coaching Programme, at Reid Avenue on October 19. He will follow this up with similar coaching programmes at the Army Training School near the Maduru Oya and at a venue in Galle.
His work will conclude at the Reid Avenue grounds, where he will conduct an Advance Coaching programme on October 28. The coaches trained by the expert will be aid in efforts to select a national handball team. |
