Kim wins at the Ridgeways

S.J. Kim emerged the winner in the A division with a Stableford score of 42 points at the Amcham-Suntel Golf Tournament held at the Ridgeways course yesterday. Kim played consistently well and tied on the score with Sajeev Wickremanayake but Kim’s score on the back nine holes was better and was declared the winner.

Kim also had the best gross score on the six hidden holes during the course of his game. Dinesh de Silva obtained a score of 43 points to be the winner in the B division while Anil Hirdaramani also obtained 43 points but de Silva had a better count on the back nine holes.
Dilan Polonowita had the best score of the day with 44 points and was the winner in the C division. G.K. Sudath Kumar was the runner-up with a score of 43 points.

Niloo Jayathilaka played excellently to obtain 40 points and win the ladies section. Erika Van Luit was the runner-up with 38 points. Kumar Boralessa also played well to obtain 42 points and win the Senior division. Dr. Hemal Fernando was the runner-up with 37 points.

Srinath Rajapakse won the prize for the best gross score on the par three holes.
