The 34th Annual Seven-a-Side Hockey Tournament of the Mercantile Hockey Association will take place today (Sunday October 31) at the Sara Oval from 8 am onwards.
Browns Group PLC will sponsor the event for the fourth consecutive year.
Twenty four teams will be participating in five separate divisions and the cream of Sri Lankan talent will be displaying their skills to bring honour to their respective establishments.
Mr. Prawira Rimoe Saldin, Chief Operating Officer Browns Group of Companies and Mrs. Romani Saldin will be the Chief Guests at the event.
The Guests of Honour will be Mr. Ganesh – ex Unilevers, Past Senior Vice President Mercantile Hockey Association (1979-2003) and Mrs. Marie Ganesh. |
