Dr. Mahesha Ranasoma, a top corporate personality, has been appointed Managing Director of Dipped Products PLC, a Hayleys Group company and also a director of Hayleys, the company said.

He takes over from J.A.G. Anandarajah with effect from April 1. Dr. Ranasoma was appointed to the Board of Dipped Products PLC in August 2010 and prior to this appointment, he served as the Country Chairman and Managing Director of Shell Gas Lanka Limited and Shell Terminal Lanka Limited.
He has over 11 years of senior management experience in Shell and has over six years of Research & Development and teaching experience as a senior university lecturer in Civil/Costal Engineering.
He has also provided Environmental Management expertise as a Consultant for major private sector and donor funded projects in Sri Lanka.
