3 SEC capital market web portals soon via Cyber Concepts

Local website developer Cyber Concepts has revealed that it had been awarded the contract for three Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Sri Lanka websites, the main SEC portal as well as the organisation's Financial Services Academy (FSA) and Capital Market Information Centre (CMIC).
According to the developer, the SEC website will "mainly focus on investor information and market information. Securities and Exchange Commission is hoping to provide information for foreign and local investors and government agencies, listed companies, etc.

This site will be supporting live share information, online chat, quick announcements, web casting, news updates and interactive events such as stock market games. It will also have easy content management system so it will help SEC to provide timely and accurate information to their focused groups."

Meanwhile, the CMIC offering will make available the "capital market reports, research information, market news, international capital market information" and much more. On the other hand, the FSA site is an educational tool which will "help to develop skills among the persons involved in the capital market operations" and will give visitors access to an "online educational system to provide proper training to focused grups. It will also have a student management system, tutor management system, online payment management system as well."
