Dialog Television has introduced the Personal Video Recorder (PVR) feature with its bouquet of international and local infotainment channels.
The top satellite entertainment provider now offers the largest number of recordable channels of 34, and customers can now pause, rewind, fast forward live television as they please, it said in a statement.
Dialog TV customers simply need to call the DTV hotline and subscribe for this service, whereby an installation team would visit the given location with a PVR-enabled set up box. The new set up box comes with an external storage device and port, and the data stored encrypted. This unique feature could be obtained for a monthly rental of Rs. 750 for both new and existing customers in addition to their standard monthly rentals. The feature also allows you to record one channel while watching another and the media player feature allows playback of MP3 and JPEGs, it said.
The channels available for recording are:
