Technology Leaders Gathering in Sri Lanka for WSO2Con 2011

Some world-renowned technology leaders will be meeting in Sri Lanka for WSO2’s second annual user conference, WSO2Con 2011 which explores the unique convergence of service-oriented architecture (SOA), open source software, and cloud computing implementations, as well as IT strategies for improving productivity and competing in a global economy. WSO2Con 2011 is a technical and IT-Biz conference organized by WSO2 inc, and 2011 is its second consecutive time.

The conference will be held at Waters Edge Battaramulla from September 12th to the 16th. More than 25 guest speakers from 10 countries are expected to deliver their presentations during five days of conference sessions and tutorials designed for both the business and IT community. WSO2Con 2011 will feature case studies, technology developments and implementation best practices in the areas of SOA, cloud, enterprise solutions, e-government, and banking and finance. In-depth pre-conference and post-conference tutorials will be held on Monday, September 12th and Friday, September 16th respectively.

Keynote speakers at WSO2Con 2011 are some of the world’s innovators in the development and implementation of SOA, Web services, open source and other software technologies. Dr. C. Mohan, IBM Research Fellow will make a presentation on , “IBM Global Technology Outlook – 2011,”while Sastry Malladi, eBay Distinguished Architect will deliver a lecture on “Service Orientation – Why it is Good for Your Business”. Gregor Hohpe, Google Engineer will out line“Enterprise Integration Patterns: Past, Present and Future,” Narendra Nathmal, Cognizant Technologies Chief Architect will deliver his presentation on . “SOA & Beyond Using Open Source Technologies,”
