MARKSS Healthcare (MARKSS HLC), a fast-growing pharmaceutical company in Sri Lanka, is in the process of establishing an island-wide regional distribution hubs and warehousing complexes for their pharmaceutical, neutraceutical items, medical equipments, devices and utensils.
This new approach of MARKSS was launched by opening the company’s first medical Regional Distribution Centre in Galle by Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody recently, according to a company announcement.
The regional centres are designed to ensure many elements of supply chain to the customer. It serves to ensure the quality of drugs right to the customer which aids MARKSS’s vision in attaining the state of “the most admired pharmaceuticals company in Sri Lanka”. Through this, MARKSS will have control of its distribution to the point of the chemist. In addition the regional hub is capable in handling orders rapidly with higher degree of efficiency, the statement added.
