Montgomery Worldwide and PICO Sri Lanka, leading figures in exhibition industry, have come forward to present an international exhibition on the hospitality industry at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre in Colombo from October 27-29.
The exhibition titled “Hotel, Hospitality and Food Sri Lanka 2011” will enable hoteliers, restaurant owners and others in the industry to source suppliers while enabling existing suppliers to launch and introduce new lines of products to this thirsting market, one of the organisers PICO Sri Lanka said in an announcement.
The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Sri Lanka and the Association of Small and Medium Hotels while the strategic partner of the event is the European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. “The event is timely considering the fact that the diversity of future tourism and the rising expectation of tourists and business visitors will impact on accommodation standards, food service and service and staff training requirements generally,” the organisers said.
