Many Sri Lankan’s are not aware of the opportunities in the Aviation Industry and the fact is most of the world class airlines have hired Sri Lankan pilots; Moreover all opportunities are within Western Province, and I think Sri Lankan students should consider a carrier path in the Aviation sector.
Secondly, there is a 75% predicted growth in Asia’s Aviation Industry, furthermore air travel is becoming a necessity, and most of the airlines are planning to double their fleet by 2015. Sri Lanka doesn’t have any Pilot who has Float Rating, and there is a considerable demand worldwide. World renowned Canadian seaplane Pilots are hired by Sri Lankan Airline to fly their seaplanes and at the same time, there is major demand for flight instructors.
Due to lack of knowledge & lack of information, people do not know where to choose a professional cost-effective, world recognized, quality pilot training program.
The VICTORIA FLYING CLUB (VFC) located in British Columbia, Canada has been providing professional pilot training for local and international students for more than 65 years. Fourteen experienced Flight Instructors working with a fleet of fifteen aircraft ensure that students are able to complete their training as quickly as possible. The general course of training begins with the Private Pilot License, then progresses into the Night Rating, mountain flying/navigation, advanced instrument flying, and finally the Commercial Pilot License.
