EFC urges HR professionals to join discussion on related issues

The Employers' Federation of Ceylon (EFC), following the successful launch of its HR Network website last year, is to launch a series of articles and interviews on the site. EFC said this would further expand its current network of HR professionals to create an island-wide community that can use the site as a source of HR material for their continuing professional development.

"As Human Resource Management becomes a key strategic requirement for many oganisations, the EFC is keen to share its own insights on human resources(HR) and industrial relations (IR) as well as those of its members with a wider audience. This year, in addition to offering HR/IR Forum events, The HR Network will run a series of articles and interviews highlighting current HR issues in today's markets and global economies," an EFC statement said.

The EFC has started a series entitled "EFC Memo's" which highlights a current HR subject each fortnight and invites the website's audience to take part in discussions and share experiences and practical solutions. The site will also publish interviews and profiles with HR professionals from Sri Lanka and abroad.
